We have left Libby's picture on our web site because of her impact on the breed through her children and grandchildren. She is missed.
LIBBY was awarded Best of Breed at the March
2000 National Beagle Club Specialty (NBC) from the Veterans class at 10
1/2 years old and she also was awarded BOB at the Wisconsin Beagle Specialty
in May of 2000.
We bought Libby from her breeder, Kathy Carling, as an outcross for our kennel with no intentions of specialing her. It was soon apparent that she was a show dog and her career as a mother was delayed while she became an NBC award of merit winner, a specialty winner and the winner of 7 Group 1's and 20 Group placements. She was always owner handled.
